Campaign #1:   Rent and Utilities for the Blind
Funds to provide immediate help for rent which could be behind because of vision impairments.  

A. Sponsorship for 4 applicants:   $2,000
B. Sponsorship for 3 applicants:   $1,500
C. Sponsorship for 2 applicants:   $1,000
D. Sponsorship for 1 applicants:   $500

 
Campaign #2:   Guide Dogs
Some blind people would make great advancement if they had only a pet guide dog for direction. These funds will assure such services in most areas.  

A. Sponsorship for 12 dogs:   $2,000
B. Sponsorship for 9 dogs:   $1,500
C. Sponsorship for 6 dogs:   $1,000
D. Sponsorship for 3 dogs:   $500

 
Campaign #3:   Recreation
It has been said that people with impaired vision stay in the house all the time. We want to fund activities so they can come out and have a joyful time.

A. Sponsorship for 50 participants:   $2,500
B. Sponsorship for 30 participants:   $1,500
C. Sponsorship for 20 participants:   $1,000
D. Sponsorship for 10 participants:   $500

Activities that will be funded include camping, music concerts, petting zoo experiences, amusement parks and barbeques.  

 
Campaign #4:   Equipment Used by the Vision Impaired
This is a part that includes items that the visually impaired badly need. Some of these aids for the blind are eyeglasses, walking canes, magnifiers, talking books and tape players, talking watches, talking calculators, among many other products.

A. Sponsorship Level 1:   $2,000
B. Sponsorship Level 2:   $1,500
C. Sponsorship Level 3:   $1,000
D. Sponsorship Level 4:   $500

All money in the campaign categories will add up to sponsorships.  

 
Campaign #5:   Research
Doctors feel that some diseases in the eye are curable with medicine and/or surgical procedures. Contributions are necessary in finding out what these cures are.

A. Level 1 Research Curable:   $2,000
B. Level 2 Research Curable:   $1,500
C. Level 3 Research Curable:   $1,000
D. Level 4 Research Curable:   $500

This money is designated to go directly to institutions that attempt to find cures for the visionally impaired.  

 
Campaign #6:   Prescriptions
Eye drops, along with an assortment of medications are a continuous need for people with impaired vision. Eye drops help to heal, soothe, tear, and they work on all parts of the eye. They come in small bottles and if insurance doesn't cover the cost then they are privately funded.
A. Approximately 15 bottles of eye drops and medication:   $2,000
B. Approximately 12 bottles of eye drops and medication:   $1,500
C. Approximately 8 bottles of eye drops and medication:   $1,000
D. Approximately 4 bottles of eye drops and medication:   $500

All money in the campaign categories will add up to sponsorships.  

 
Campaign #7:   New Technology
New technology is spreading at a rapid pace of usage for the blind. We can help some of the visionally impaired with these purchases: 12-Digit Talking Calculator, 2 Inch Portable Small Screen Magnifier, Talking Money Identifier, Liquid Level Indicators, Talking Microwaves, PDA Systems which combine braille and speech, Digital Recorders for the Blind, etc.

A. Assortment level 1:   $1,500
B. Assortment level 2:   $1,000
C. Assortment level 3:   $500

 
Campaign #8:   Sitters
These people are sometimes necessary in the life of a blind or vision impaired person. They are especially appreciated for reading purposes and in some cases just being around for assistance or company. Funding will guarantee these services where needed.

A. 142 Hours of care-giving:   $2,000
B. 107 Hours of care-giving:   $1,500
C. 71 Hours of care-giving:   $1,000
D. 35 Hours of care-giving:   $500

These are suggested donations, but any amount is urgent!
